Biographical Summary
Dr. D. Kojo Hamilton received his medical degree and residency training from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He completed subspecialty complex spine, spinal deformity, scoliosis and spine surgical oncology training with a combined neurosurgical and orthopaedic (AOSpine) fellowships at the University of Virginia. He is board-certified in neurological surgery and a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
Dr. Hamilton is nationally involved in teaching resident physicians and his peers advanced and current techniques in scoliosis and adult spine deformity. He is recognized as a leading expert in scoliosis, adult spinal deformity, and trauma.
David Hamilton, MD, specializes in neurosurgery and is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He practices at University of Pittsburgh Physicians, Department of Neurosurgery and is affiliated with UPMC Presbyterian, UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, UPMC Hamot, UPMC Mercy, and UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital. He completed his fellowship, residency, and medical education at University of Virginia Medical School.
